My name is JeanMarie, and I am Founder & Team Captain of the 3Day Dancers. The 3 Day Dancers Walk & Support Teams participate in many events such as the Breast Cancer 3Day Walks, the Relay for Life and Strides Against Breast Cancer & we provide FREE of charge daily life support services for women in treatment! WHY??? Because we can, because it's all about love.... It's about our mothers, sisters, daughters and friends who are engaged in the battle of their lives... It's about those facing their breast cancer battle now, the memory of those who lost in their fight and the generations yet to come after us... It's about caring for others, those who are less fortunate... It's about the men - confronting a disease so often thought of as "a woman's issue".... It's all about LOVE...The love of mankind in general.... Well, what kind of world do you want??? WALK with us, CREW with us, FUNDRAISE or DONATE ... it all helps this worthwhile cause! When looking for a training walk on Florida's east coast, Lorri came upon one being led by our team captain, JeanMarie & signed up for the walk.  After the first training walk,Lorri joined our team. She walked the Tampa 2009 event and will be walking in the Dallas 2010 3Day. In Lorri's own words: "I really enjoyed my first training walk yesterday.  I am very interested in joining the 3 day dancers.  Thank you for everything.  I learned a lot during the training walk."
Toni joined the Dancers in 2007 for the Tampa Bay walk. In 2008, Toni participated in the San Francisco 3Day as a walker  & in Tampa Bay as a crew member on Camp Services.  She crewed the Tampa 2009 event and will do so again in 2010.  In Toni's own words:   "After signing up for the 3 Day Walk, I wanted to find someone in my area who I could walk with on training walks. I searched for walks and teams in the Melbourne area and came across the 3 Day Dancer team and saw that the team was accepting new members. I wasn’t convinced that I wanted to join a team with people I didn’t know .  .  . so it was with great trepidation that I dialed JeanMarie’s phone number. I told myself that there was no commitment in just making a phone call for information on training walks. I ended up having a lengthy conversation that night with her and after just a few minutes, clicked on “join the team”.  I knew that I had found a team that had a strong commitment to ending this disease and now have found friends for life!" Renea walked the Tampa Bay 3Day with JeanMarie in 2006, and has joined the 3Day Dancers for the 2010 Tampa event.  Renea is a warm, kind, caring person, who feels deeply for those touched by this disease. As many of us do, she works full time, takes care of her family, and still spends time training & fundraising towards finding the cure! She was instrumental in team fundraising for 2009 & we are so pleased she is walking with us in 2010!
Deborah walked with the 3Day Dancers Tampa Bay 2009 Walk Team and has signed up again to do it in 2010! A message from Deborah in her own words: "I'm looking forward to starting this amazing adventure and opportunity to be involved with something so close to my heart. I lost my Grandmother to breast cancer years ago but since then have met so many women that have battled this. Now another member in our extended family is continuing her courageous fight! I have met so many people, survivors and their families within the last year that have faced this battle. Click here for Christa's 3Day web page!	The Dancers are pleased to welcome Christa, a brand new 3Day participant, to our 2010 Tampa Walk Team. In 2009, Christa helped coordinate fundraising events for the 2009 team and decided to sign on for the 60-mile event. Says Christa: "This is a worthwhile cause...  everything I can do to help find the cure for breast cancer is worth the effort!"
2010 will be Jacquie's first 60-mile breast cancer event. Jacquie met JeanMarie while participating in a 2009 training walk and has joined the Dancers for the Tampa 2010 event. "It always feels great when you can do something for others. This is a worthwhile cause and I am so glad I have joined the team. Click here to go to Deb's 2010 page!	JeanMarie met Deborah at a sponsored fundraiser in 2009. Deb walked in the 2009 Tampa 3Day and spent part of her 60-mile journey with Lorri & Deb (above). She decided to join the Dancers in Tampa for 2010 - and her sons, Bryan & Curtis (below) will be joining her on even as crew!Says Deborah: "I really enjoyed fundraising and walking with the Dancers.  They were inspiring and I'm so glad that I am on their team for 2010!"
Bryan crewed on the Gear & Tent team at the Tampa 2009 event, supporting his mom and all of the Tampa walkers. Once again, in 2010, Bryan and his brother, Curtis (below) will crew and be supporting their mom, the Dancers Team and all of the thousands of 3Day walkers! WAY TO GO BRYAN! Go to Curtis' Tampa 2010 page!	Curtis might be remembered for his Batman costume on Halloween at the 2009 Tampa 3Day, where he crewed on Gear & Tent with his brother, Bryan. Both Curtis & Brian were instrumental in providing needed assistance plus some comic relief to all of the walkers (and for JeanMarie)! In Curtis' own words: "I signed up again for 2010 because I really enjoyed the camaraderie on the Gear & Tent Team, and the wonderful warmth of feelings shared by everyone on event. It's great that I can support my mom and the other walkers. The 3Day Dancers were a big help to my mom & I am glad I was able to join the team for 2010!"
Barbara is JeanMarie's mom & is an honorary member of the team.  She consistently "steps in" to cover fundraising events when we are shorthanded, as well as promotes the team and our efforts by spreading the word, selling product and generating support. We are extremely grateful for the time & assistance she devotes to our cause! Way to go MOM!
