A Year
Has Passed!
Hard to believe that 2009 is coming
to an end, isn't it? Time seems to pass so quickly. This year saw
joys and losses, ups and downs. Our fundraising efforts, though
diligent, netted a lower result than years past.
Perhaps the sluggish economy impacted donations? We refuse to
believe that people are apathetic to the cause, there are
too many afflicted with breast cancer, too many families
impacted, to disregard the need for a cure! We are hopeful
that 2010 will see an elevation in philanthropic donations made towards
the cure.
The Dancers participated
in the Holiday Parade in Palm Bay on December 5th! The crowd
lining Malabar Road was even bigger than last year.
Fortunately, the rain stopped, the skies cleared and the stars
were shining bright as we rolled out in position #48 (out of
more than 100 entries). The new 2010 T's were a big hit with
many in the crowd asking where to get one (at our online
store, of course)! We will also be at the Bench Press for
Breasts Competition at Maximum Fitness at Stack Blvd,
Melbourne on January 16th! C'mon by and flex your muscles for
the cure!
